Nice Day for Fishing is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence and Language. This is an adventure role-playing game in which players assume the role of a fisherman who must become a hero after all adventurers have disappeared. From a side-scrolling perspective, players explore the world, interact with characters, complete quests, and battle small fish and aquatic creatures. Players use fishing rods and magic spells to attack creatures in fishing battles. Combat is frequent but mild, with impact sounds and screen-shaking effects. The words “sh*thole” and “d*ck” appear in the game.
