Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Strong Language, and Violence. This is an arcade-style action game in which players assume the roles of villains that unleash chaos on movie sets. From a 2D side-scrolling perspective, players punch, kick, and use grabbable weapons (e.g., spiked bats, batons, pistols, axes) to attack enemies in “beat 'em up”-style combat. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain, impact sounds, and large blood-splatter effects. When enemies' health is low enough, players can perform finishing moves; some finishing moves result in decapitation and/or body parts/viscera (e.g., eyeballs, teeth) hitting the screen. The word “f**k” appears in the game.
