Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Alcohol Reference, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Suggestive Themes. This is a role-playing game in which players follow the story of Ryza, a young alchemist in a fantastical world. Players explore towns, interact with characters, perform quests, and battle various monsters. Combat is turn-based, with players selecting attack moves from a menu before watching brief animations of their characters fighting. Characters use swords, staffs, and magic attacks to defeat enemies; battles are highlighted by impact sounds and light effects. Some female characters are depicted with exaggerated-sized breasts and/or revealing outfits (e.g., deep cleavage, bikinis in battle, partially exposed buttocks); some characters' breasts jiggle during cutscenes.
