Bye Sweet Carole

Bye Sweet Carole is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, and Mild Suggestive Themes. This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a young woman dealing with bullies and villains in a fantastical version of early 1900s England. Players explore environments while searching for items, solving puzzles, interacting with characters, and avoiding monstrous enemies. Enemies can grab the player, fling them away, or strike them with weapons. One scene depicts a character falling from a staircase and dramatically breaking her back. Other dark tonal elements/depictions include animal carcasses in the background; characters burning to death; bloodstained tools and tablecloths; and enemies with bloody meat tenderizers/hammers. The dialogue contains brief instances of suggestive material (e.g., “I think he wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to look under my skirt”; "You, an insignificant bimbo…”).
