Dune: Awakening

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a prisoner uncovering the disappearance of a planet's inhabitants. From a third-person perspective, players explore a desert planet's open-world environments, interact with characters, harvest spice, and engage in combat with human and human-like enemies. Players use blades, hooks, dart rifles, and melee-style attacks to defeat enemies. Combat is highlighted by slow-motion effects, stabbing/slashing moves, and blood-splatter effects. One area contains severed limbs/torsos as well as bodies hanging from the ceiling. The environment also depicts burning piles of bodies and corpses covered in blood. A handful of sequences depict indirect instances of self-mutilation (e.g., off-screen gouging of eyes, with accompanying screaming or blood). The word “f**k” appears in the game.
