DOOM: The Dark Ages

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of the Doom Slayer during a medieval war against an evil force. Players can use shotguns, maces, rocket launchers, and a shield saw to kill mutants and demonic creatures in frenetic combat. Some attacks can result in decapitation and/or dismemberment, resulting in large blood-splatter effects and bloody chunks that stain/litter the environment. Some areas depict bloody human corpses with exposed entrails and viscera. During combat, players can perform close-up finishing attacks (e.g., heart ripping, head stomping, sawing enemies in half) on injured enemies.
