Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged

This is a point-and-click adventure game in which players assume the role of a tourist unraveling a mystery in various international settings. From a side-scrolling perspective, players travel to different locations, search crime scenes for clues, interact with characters, and solve puzzles. Some failure scenarios result in players' character getting shot by enemies; players' character is also depicted with small bloodstains on the chest. Other scenes depict characters shot or hit by cars, with small bloodstains on their bodies. The dialogue references suggestive material (e.g., “I know plenty of men with Italian suits and bulges in their pockets…”; “I could roll it up and put it down my pants…”; "I am a slave to my libido”; “Fast food cartons and flavored condoms"; "satanic sex ritual“; "I don't suppose you know how to recharge an electrical vibrator?”). Dialogue also contains references to drugs (e.g., “He made his money from amphetamines”; “A young man who sought to join the sect was given hashish until he drifted into dreams”; “the choicest hash"; “Is it a crack detector?”). Some sequences depict characters consuming alcohol (e.g., a woman drinking brandy from a bottle; a police officer drinking wine); players' character can consume beer from a bar as often as they'd like. Several characters are seen smoking cigarettes and pipes. The words “a*s” and “b*tch” appear in the game.
