This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a new inhabitant of a fantasy world. From a third-person perspective, players explore an open-world environment, interact with characters, complete quests, and engage in hunting activities. While hunting, players use a targeting crosshair to shoot arrows at animals (e.g., beavers, deer); animals generally turn into sacks/bags when killed. A romance mechanic includes some mild innuendo and/or suggestive references; the dialogue also contains mild innuendo (e.g., "...[S]ome organic beings do find the lighting of dusk stimulates a desire for mating..."; "It should be a crime for you to be this hot"; "...I was forced to break off our affair..."). The game contains some alcohol content: references to mead and wine in dialogue; the ability to craft beer steins and wine bottles for decorative purposes. Players can also encounter a character holding a cigarette (with cigarette holder). The word “damn” appears in the game.
