						Rating Summary

Omori is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood, Strong Language, and Violence. This is a role-playing game, with psychological-horror elements, in which players control a character exploring real-world locations as well as his own nightmarish headspace. As players' character deals with anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide, he also engages in battles against fantasy creatures and monsters. Combat is turn-based, with players selecting moves from a menu while watching short animated sequences. Some in-game choices lead to further instances of violence: jumping off a building; stabbing their “self”/character in the abdomen. A handful of photos depict a character pushed to their death or strung up in a noose. Some enemies are depicted with bloodstains on their faces, clothing, and weapons; blood also appears in small pools after certain choices/actions. The word “f**k” appears in the game text.
