Monster Crown

This is a role-playing adventure game in which players assume the role of a monster tamer on a quest to free an island from evil. From a top-down perspective, players can explore pixelated, open-world environments, interact with characters, and engage in turn-based combat against other monster tamers. Players select various attacks (e.g., chomp, body tackle, skull slam) from a menu to inflict damage against enemies. Monsters generally blink when hit and disappear when their health bar is depleted. Some sequences depict small pools of blood in the water or underneath characters. One loading screen frequently depicts a character smoking a cigarette; players can also encounter a drunk character. The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in the game.
