Mystery Masters: Carnival of Crime - Collector's Edition is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Alcohol Reference, Blood and Gore, Mild Violence, and Use of Tobacco. This is a collection of hidden-object games in which players investigate crimes, mysteries, and supernatural events. Players mostly solve puzzles and search for specific items among screens of jumbled objects. A few games depict instances of violence: a man shot off screen; bloodstained corpses; a character thrown from a window; a stabbing shown in silhouette. One game requires players to collect clues in order to view recreations of each crime shown with silhouetted figures. Another game depicts collectible items such as a severed human ear and beating heart. During the course of the game, characters can be seen with lit cigarettes or cigars. There are also several references to whiskey, beer, and rum; one game requires players to brew grog for another character.
