Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek

This is a hidden-object adventure game in which a detective must solve a paranormal mystery. Players attempt to recover the detective's lost memories as they decipher puzzles and explore screens of jumbled objects. Some sequences depict brief acts of violence: a man threatened with a dagger and getting pushed into a pit; a character getting knocked out by an unseen assailant. The storyline is also accompanied by dark thematic elements (e.g., dialogue pertaining to murder victims; a dead man with an accompanying suicide note; bloodstained sheets, daggers, and notebook pages). A handful of cutscenes also depict small blood stains on characters' hands or bodies (e.g, a man with a wound in his side).
