Rating Summary
Blade & Soul Heroes is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Mild Blood, Mild Language, Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol, and Violence. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items). This is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) in which players assume the role of a hero trying to rebuild a clan and seek justice. From a third-person perspective, players explore an open-world environment, interact with characters, complete quests, and battle human and fantastical enemies in real-time and turn-based combat. Players use swords, guns, elemental and melee-style attacks to defeat enemies. Real-time combat can be frenetic, accompanied by colorful light effects, cries of pain, and impact sounds. Cutscenes also depict instances of violence and/or blood: a character stabbed, with blood dripping from his mouth; corpses with bloodstains underneath them. Some female characters are designed with revealing outfits (e.g., deep cleavage, bikini-like tops). Several characters can be seen consuming alcohol; characters are also described as drunk, depicted swaying and/or hiccupping. The word “bastard” appears in the game.
