Rating Summary
Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Mild Blood and Violent References. This is a seek-and-find puzzle game in which players assume the role of Dana Knightstone, a writer who investigates a murder mystery while looking for new book material. Players solve puzzles, uncover clues, and search for hidden objects to advance the storyline. Some sequences reference murder and/or suicide (e.g., “In Memory of D. Robertson, Stablemaster, Who Took His Own Life” and “Was [his] death a suicide? Or murder?”); a medical report illustrates entry points of a character's gun wounds. A handful of scenes also depict objects that are smeared with blood stains (e.g., “Murder” appears written in blood on a plaque).
