Rating Summary
Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Partial Nudity, Use of Alcohol, and Violence. This is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) role-playing game in which players assume the role of demigods who must defeat malevolent beings in ancient Rome. Players use swords, staffs, and magical spells (e.g., fireballs, poison gas) to attack humans, centaurs, wolves, and minotaurs in melee-style combat. These skirmishes are accompanied by sword-clashing sounds and cries of pain; enemies collapse to the ground when defeated. In one quest, players are tasked with killing a certain number of bandits in order to receive a bounty. Players' character can also consume alcoholic drinks (e.g., wine, mead) to replenish health; some characters appear to be drunk, with erratic movements and slurred speech (e.g., “Shteady there! You're really shpinning round, y'know?”). During the course of the game, players may encounter female harpies whose breasts are fully exposed at certain camera angles.
