HERETIC + HEXEN

HERETIC + HEXEN is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, and Violence. Also includes Users Interact. This is a collection of remastered first-person shooters set in dark fantasy universes. The game's graphics are highly pixelated/polygonal, as players explore dungeons, solve puzzles, and battle fantastical enemies (e.g., demons, monsters). Players use mystical weapons during the melee-style combat: enchanted axes, magical hammers, crossbows with exploding bolts, a dragon claw that emits jets of flame. Fighting is sometimes frenetic, highlighted by explosions, groans of pain, and splashes of stylized blood. Some weapons cause enemies to disintegrate into pixilated blood and flesh piles; a handful of levels depict skeletal corpses impaled on spikes or hanging in the background.
