Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

This is a role-playing game in which players control a group of characters who seek to prevent magical phenomena from laying waste to their evolving world. From a top-down perspective, players explore dungeons, solve puzzles, and engage in turn-based combat against "cartoony" fantasy creatures (e.g., zombies, giant insects, dragons) found throughout the land. Players select actions from a menu to perform weapon strikes, magic spells, and other attacks. Damage is indicated by flashes of light and the depletion of health points; enemies disappear when defeated. On several occasions, on-screen text references self-sacrifice and violence (e.g., "…he's about to give his life for his sister…" and "Why aren't you just KILLING them?").
