Fairytale Fights

Players hack and slash lumberjacks, knights, bunnies, and gingerbread men in this platform adventure game. Set in a colorful fairytale landscape with cute and colorful characters, the game features over-the-top depictions of violence: Axes, saws, and other blunt weapons can be used to slay characters in a cartoonish rampage; blood spurts out of characters in extreme amounts, pooling across the ground; the cutest of critters are dismembered with regularity. In a "Glory mode," players are able to "freeze time" and carve up enemies with multiple slices; these highly stylized (yet "cartoony") dismemberment and decapitations usually take up half the screen. One boss character uses a vomit attack that spews green liquid at players and on the ground. Players can control a Naked Emperor character whose genitals are covered with a fig leaf, though his buttocks is clearly visible.
