Rating Summary
Grime II is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence, and Mild Language. This is an action-platformer in which players assume the role a creature that absorbs and mimics creatures as it explores a fantasy world. From a 2D side-scrolling perspective, players traverse platform environments and engage in melee-style combat against stone-like creatures and monsters. Players conjure creatures and use blades, axes, and spears to kill enemies. Battles are accompanied by impact sounds, screen-shaking effects, and black blood-splatter; closeup slow-motion effects also occur when boss characters are defeated and/or when players parry enemy attacks. A handful of sequences depict characters impaled. The phrase "p*sses me off" appears in the game.
