Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, and Strong Language. This is a first-person shooter in which players defend human territories from an invading alien force. Players use various machine guns and explosives to kill giant insect-like aliens in frenetic combat. Fighting is highlighted by screams of pain, gunfire, explosions, and frequent green blood-splatter effects. Players have the ability to shoot non-adversary soldiers (friendly fire), though the action is not encouraged. Human characters sometimes explode into large fountains of red blood and/or body parts; some environments depict bloodstains and dismembered human remains and/or mutilated corpses. The word “f**k” appears in the game.
