Rating Summary
Sigma Star Saga DX is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence and Suggestive Themes. This is an action role-playing game in which players help a space pilot infiltrate and spy on the alien forces invading Earth. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players explore different planets, interact with characters, and battle fantastical creatures (e.g., aliens, giant worms, zombies). Players use blasters and explosives to defeat enemy creatures. In some sequences, players pilot a spacecraft to destroy waves of enemy ships and larger creatures. Combat is accompanied by blaster effects and mild explosions. The game contains some suggestive material: alien female characters in revealing outfits (e.g., low-cut tops, partially exposed breasts); an art gallery with drawings of characters in revealing outfits; dialogue containing references such as “He's lost his taste for scrawny little Earth girls. He's into galaxy class women now” and "I want to get better acquainted with my new pet [a female human]”).
