Rating Summary
Otome Daoshi -Fighting For Love- is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, Mild Language, and Mild Suggestive Themes. This is a visual novel in which players follow a Daoist priestess living in the martial arts kingdom of Kayu. As players follow the storyline, they can engage in occasional fistfights/martial arts contests, which are indicated through text and still-screen/reaction images: a character stabbed in the chest; a wounded character with blood on his hand; a bloody knife; blood drops on the screen. Sound effects sometimes include sword-slashing and wet-impact effects. The game contains some suggestive material during one interaction between characters (e.g., “If you want, I could take you someplace nice and –”; “There's nothing wrong with a bit of an age gap when it comes to true love”; “You lecher!”). The words “p*ss me off” and “bastard” appear in the game.
