Kusan: City of Wolves is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood, Strong Language, and Violence. This is a top-down shooter in which players assume the role of Jin, an anthropomorphic panther battling through a fantasy world to rescue a child. As Jin rampages through enemy hideouts and strongholds, he uses his bionic fists, crossbows, and firearms to kill enemy thugs and underworld bosses. In one sequence, bound characters are kicked into the path of an oncoming train. Killing enemies can result in large splatters of blood pooling under their bodies; still-image sequences sometimes depict corpses and/or characters' bodies amid blood stains. The word “f**k” appears in the game.
