WARRIORS: Abyss

WARRIORS: Abyss is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Alcohol Reference, Blood, Suggestive Themes, and Violence. Also includes In-Game Purchases. This is a “rogue-lite” action game in which players assume the role of an ancient Chinese hero attempting to defeat a demon from the Underworld. From a ¾-overhead perspective, players use swords, spears, blades, and elemental attacks to kill waves of monsters and human-like souls. Special moves sometimes depict dramatic light effects and/or explosions, with enemies thrown in all directions. Combat is often fast-paced, with players slashing dozens of enemies at once, resulting in frequent cries of pain and splashes of brownish blood. Some levels also depict red bloodstains on the ground. Some female characters are designed in revealing outfits (e.g., lingerie-like outfits, deep cleavage), with occasional breast-jiggle effects. The game contains some alcohol content: still image of characters toasting/celebrating with rice wine; still image of characters at an outdoor party (text reads "Get drunk"); references to alcohol in the dialogue (e.g., "His love for wine led to more than a few drunken failures"; "Now for some wine to wash it down...!").
