Path of Mystery: A Brush with Death is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Language, Mild Blood, Mild Suggestive Themes, Mild Violence, and Use of Alcohol. This is a visual novel in which players follow the story of college students investigating a murder. As players progress through the story, they can make dialogue and action choices that influence the narrative. One scene briefly depicts a corpse with a dark blood stain; another scene depicts a restrained character with a large bloody knife by their neck. Stylized still-images and cutscenes sometimes depict outlines of bodies with small amounts of blood.
