Dark Atlas: Infernum is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Strong Language, and Violence. This is a horror puzzle game in which players assume the role of Natalia Ascensio, a woman who must delve into her mind to prevent a disaster. From a first-person perspective, players explore corridors/rooms and solve puzzles to progress the narrative. Along the way, players must run and hide from enemies (e.g., ghosts, walking corpses) that chase and attack Natalia. In one sequence, players obtain a character's severed hand to use on a piece of equipment; in another sequence, players complete a ritual requiring Natalia to stab herself and rip out her heart. Large blood stains are depicted in some areas. The word “f**k” appears in the game.
