Metro Awakening

Metro Awakening is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Strong Language, and Violence. This is a first-person shooter set in an underground post-nuclear Moscow. Players assume the role of a doctor searching for his wife while battling mutated creatures and a cannibalistic cult. Players explore the depths of the metro while solving puzzles and fighting enemies in frenetic combat. Players use pistols, machine guns, turrets, and explosives to kill enemies. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, and blood-splatter effects. A handful of cutscenes depict human figures stabbed/sacrificed on altars; some levels depict instances of gore (e.g., human limbs, bloody ribcages, mutilated corpses). The word “f**k” appears in the game.
