Rating Summary
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Mild Language, and Violence. Also includes Users Interact. This is an action game in which players assume the roles of warriors defending magical rifts from evil forces. Players defend rifts by placing traps (e.g., spiked platforms, wall spears, catapult floors) within the environment to kill waves of fantastical creatures (e.g., orcs, trolls, kobolds). Players also use guns, bows, and magic spells to kill enemies in frenetic combat. Battles are accompanied by impact sounds, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. Some attacks result in enemies breaking apart into blocky chunks of flesh that litter the ground before quickly disappearing; other attacks can result in decapitation, as enemies' headless bodies fall to the ground. The words “pr*ck,” “p*ssed,”and “arsed” appear in the game.
