Rating Summary
Lost Soul Aside is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Use of Alcohol and Violence. This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of a warrior on a mission to save his sister. From a third-person perspective, players traverse alien worlds and fantasy landscapes to battle enemy creatures (e.g., giant insects, aliens, dragons) in melee-style combat. Battles are fast-paced, with players using swords, scythes, and claws to kill enemies. Battles are accompanied by cries of pain, impact sounds, and screen-shaking effects. During the course of the game, a story sequence depicts a drunken character consuming alcohol and swaying about before passing out on another character; alcohol is also referenced in the dialogue (e.g., "So, you think your constitution can handle Frosthold's famed liquors?“; Got any booze?...[B]ut seriously, why is alcohol so hard to come by these days…”).
