I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Sexual Themes, and Violence. This is a 2D point-and-click adventure game in which players follow the stories of five individuals trapped and tortured by a sinister supercomputer for over a century. Players explore each character's history and must advance the narrative by making various dialogue and action choices. Several stories contain dark thematic elements: a scientist experimenting on captive prisoners, including children; disposal of prisoners in mass graves and incinerators; murder by a serial killer. Some scenarios/action choices lead to depictions of violence: a character stabbing a doctor; the silhouette of a golem crushing a character's head; a man holding a victim's bloody heart after stabbing him; a prisoner's eyes removed and placed in a jar. Some areas also depict bloodied/wounded characters and large bloodstains. The game contains some sexual material: a character seducing another (e.g., “Come back later and I'll show you just how good I am at pleasure.”), leading to the characters in bed; a prolonged elevator sequence in which a ghoul-like character menaces a woman, with allusions to assault (e.g., “I've waited so long for the taste of you again...Let me caress your body once more...”; “Do you also remember the blood, the screams?
