This is a platformer game in which players control Mario as he runs, jumps, and flies across planets/galaxies to collect stars and save Princess Peach. Players use assorted moves and power-ups (i.e., jumps, slams, spins, turtle shells) to defeat enemy creatures and bosses. Some enemies crumble into pieces when jumped on; others become stunned when struck, resulting in dizzy stars.
