Space Adventure Cobra - The Awakening

Space Adventure Cobra - The Awakening is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence, Partial Nudity, and Use of Tobacco. This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a space pirate on a quest to save sisters hunted by a space pirate guild. From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse planets and platform levels to defeat space pirates and fantasy creatures (e.g., mummies, robots). Players use punches, kicks, and blasters to defeat enemies. Battles are accompanied by large explosions and cries of pain. Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence: a character impaled through the chest; characters shot by blasters; a woman electrocuted by a jailer. The game depicts brief instances of nudity: characters with exposed buttocks; a topless female character, with pasties covering her nipples. Throughout the game, the main character is depicted smoking a cigar.
