Songs of Silence

This is a strategy game in which players manage kingdom expansion while battling rival factions. From a top-down perspective, players send small military units (e.g., swordsmen, cavalry, archers) from town to town in order to claim land/territory. Fighting is turn-based, as players use cards to provide bursts of power or enhanced skills (e.g., bolts of lightning). Combat is highlighted by war cries, occasional explosions, and occasional blood-splatter effects. One cutscene depicts a soldier struck by an arrow to the face, with a brief blood spurt. One recurring character is depicted in a portrait holding a smoking tobacco pipe. The words “bastard” and “p*ss off” appear in the game.
