Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol.1 is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence and Use of Tobacco. This is a compilation of arcade-style shooters ("shoot 'em ups") in which players mostly pilot small vehicles (e.g. helicopters, spaceships) to battle enemies through vertical-scrolling levels. Flying vehicles can fire projectiles (e.g., lasers, bullets) and trigger bombs to destroy pixelated ships and ground targets (e.g., tanks, turrets). In a handful of games, players' ground soldiers use guns and blasters to defeat enemies (e.g., robotic soldiers, drones). Battles are accompanied by blaster effects, explosions, and cries of pain. One still-screen image depicts a man smoking a cigarette.
