FINAL FANTASY TACTICS - The Ivalice Chronicles is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Drug Reference, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Mild Suggestive Themes. This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a nobleman attempting to save his kingdom from demons. From a ¾-overhead perspective, players explore the kingdom, interact with characters, and battle human and fantastical enemies (e.g., knights, demons, animals) in turn-based combat. Players take turns selecting attacks and spells from a menu, using swords, daggers, blades, and magic to kill enemies. Cutscenes depict several characters getting stabbed, accompanied by blood-splatter effects; players can also encounter corpses amid small bloodstains. Some female characters are designed with revealing outfits (e.g., thongs); the dialogue also references suggestive material (e.g., "Even when thinned with that of a courtesan, it would seem”; “...you're quite the rum-dutchess.
