This is an action-adventure platformer in which players assume the role of an octopus searching for his friend during an alien invasion. As players traverse the 2.5D environment, they can run, swim, jump, and hide to avoid obstacles and enemies (e.g., lava, rats, aliens). Getting caught can result in short death scenes: the octopus getting eaten by fish/eels, swarmed by rats, squished by humans/aliens, zapped by ray guns. Some death scenes depict blue and yellow blood-splatter effects and/or colorful bloodstains on the ground. One area contains white bird feces splattered on ledges/walls.
