Rating Summary
King of Meat is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Crude Humor, Language, and Violence. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases. This is an action/party game in which players control whimsical characters through various events involving combat, puzzles, traps, and platforming challenges. Players use melee weapons (e.g., swords, axes, hammers) to kill stylized enemies in frenetic combat events. Fighting is highlighted by explosions and blood-splatter effects. Cutscenes depict several instances of satirical and stylized violence, along with blood/gore: a character impaled on bloody spikes; a character repeatedly punched in the face, with blood-splatter effects; a table with half a zombie head lying in a small pool of blood; a Frankenstein-like character bisected by a giant saw blade. The game contains some instances of crude humor: gargoyle statues (Cheeky Gargoyle) bent over and holding their bare buttocks; a parody commercial depicting characters taking laxatives, emitting flatulence, and exploding into brown liquid. The word “sh*t” appears in the game.
