Iwakura Aria

Iwakura Aria is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Blood, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, and Violence. This is a visual novel in which players follow the story of Ichiko, a live-in maid to the wealthy Iwakura family during the summer of 1966. Some storylines/sequences depict violence and/or blood: a man choking an unconscious woman; a woman cutting her wrist with a knife; a bloodstained corpse that has been stabbed multiple times. One scene describes a character threatening another with an unseen gun, and eventual audio of a gunshot. The game contains some sexual material in text (e.g., “Both my boss and his business partners were much older than me, yet I had to deal with their advances every single day. . .The feeling of that huge, moist hand grabbing my thigh on my last day there…,” “All of this just to lay their eyes on her, almost as if they were peeping on her”). A handful of scenes contain images of characters sharing a bath or touching each other (clothed) as brief moans are heard. The word “f**k” appears in the game.
