This is an fighting-adventure game in which players assume the role of a demon slayer battling evil and searching for a cure to save his sister. From a third-person perspective, players engage in frenetic, melee-style combat against various demon characters. Players use swords and fantastical attacks to defeat enemies. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain, colorful light effects, and impact sounds. The game contains several depictions of decapitation, involving human-like demons getting beheaded at the end of battle; decapitations are often accompanied by close-up angles, slow-motion effects, quick-time event (QTE) interaction, and/or blood splatter. Some female characters are designed with revealing outfits (e.g., deep cleavage, short skirts revealing undergarments, bikini-like outfits) and breast-jiggling effects; the dialogue also references suggestive material (e.g., “Your breasts will spill out if you run like that!”).
