Dustborn

Dustborn is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Drug Reference, Mild Blood, Strong Language, and Violence. This is an action-adventure game in which players follow the story of a band of misfits delivering a package across a dystopian wasteland. As players follow the narrative, they can interact with characters, solve puzzles, and engage in melee-style combat against enemies (e.g., thugs, robots). Players use a bat and character abilities (e.g., taunt, push, shout) to defeat enemies. Battles are highlighted by impact sounds, cries of pain, and slow-motion effects. Cutscene depict additional acts of violence: characters shooting each other; a man getting disintegrated; a character stabbed (off-screen). The game depicts a victim with a bloody bullet-hole wound and a character with a blood-stained arm. The dialogue contains references to drugs (e.g., “Those are opium poppies”; “You've been selling drugs”; “Illegal production of illicit drugs”). The words “f**k” and “sh*t” are heard in the game.
