Haunted House

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a teenager searching for her uncle in a haunted mansion. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players explore mansion floors, avoid traps, sneak past ghosts, and battle various spirits and monsters. Players defend against attacking ghosts by using a lantern to drain their spirit meters; the lantern can also be used to vaporize unsuspecting ghosts. Combat is accompanied by screen-shaking effects and flashes of light. Boss encounters depict more protracted combat. The word "hell" appears in the game.
