Gloomhaven: Mercenaries Edition

Gloomhaven: Mercenaries Edition is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence and Mild Blood. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases. This is a tactical role-playing game in which players lead mercenaries through dungeons for treasure and loot. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players explore dungeons and engage in turn-based combat against bandits and fantastical creatures (e.g., demons, giant snakes). Players select weapon attacks and magic spells from a menu and observe characters attacking and draining enemies' health meters. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain and impact sounds. An opening cutscene depicts a torture room filled with cages, skeletons, tables/racks, spikes, and other instruments of torture; red bloodstains can be seen on some devices, as a narrator states, "the unmistakable stench of death and rotting flesh."
