Death or Treat

Death or Treat is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB with Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood, Mild Language, and Use of Tobacco. This is a 2D action game in which players help a ghost merchant battle a corporation intent on taking over the Halloween candy business. From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse platforms and use an assortment of swords, blades, and hammers to defeat enemy creatures (e.g., devils, demons, ghosts). Battles are sometimes fast-paced, accompanied by impact sounds, cries of pain, and screen-shaking effects. The game depicts a cartoony chainsaw with small bloodstains on the blade. During the course of the game, a character can be seen smoking a cigar. The words “Hell Podcast” appear in the background of some levels.
