This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a train employee assisting Sonic with a murder-mystery party. Players explore train cars, search for clues, and interview various suspects. In one sequence, a character is discovered unconscious and believed to have been murdered; during some gameplay sequences, Sonic gets hit by obstacles (e.g., spikes, blades, falling explosives).
