Under The Waves

Under The Waves is rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB with Mild Violence and Strong Language. This is a narrative adventure game in which players follow the story of an off-shore maintenance operator (Stan) dealing with a personal tragedy in the ocean. From a third-person perspective, players traverse the ocean depths, explore wrecks and structures, and complete various objectives to progress the story. During the course of the game, there are depictions of mild peril, as players encounter sirens, explosions, depleting air supplies, and a human corpse (the narration references an entire team purposefully drowned). The words “f**k” and “sh*t” are heard in the game.
