SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Suggestive Themes. Also includes Users Interact and In-Game Purchases. This is an action role-playing game in which players lead heroes on a quest to save a virtual world from an invading force. From a third-person perspective, players explore fantasy landscapes and engage in melee-style combat against soldiers and fantastical creatures (e.g., gargoyles, demons, giant lizards). Players use swords, magic attacks, and special skills (e.g., Finish Arts) to kill enemies in fast-paced combat. Battles are highlighted by sword slashes, small blood-like effects, and screen-shaking. Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence and/or blood: an overhead view of blood-stained corpses on a battlefield; a man stabbed in the back; a man impaled through the chest; a pool of blood flowing near a corpse. Some female characters are designed with revealing outfits (e.g., low-cut tops, deep cleavage) and partially exposed breasts and buttocks. The word “p*ss” appears in the game.
