Front Mission 1st: Remake

This is a strategy game in which players lead a mercenary unit through military missions in the year 2090. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players position giant mech robots (Wanzers) on grid-based battlefields to fight enemy forces. Players use machine guns, rifles, and robotic punches to destroy and/or disable mechs in turn-based combat. Some sequences depict characters (including civilians) getting killed off screen; some darker thematic elements reference suicide and terrorism (e.g., "...the explosion was caused by a bomb used by the terrorists to commit mass suicide."). The word “bastard” appears in the game.
