Age of Wonders 4 is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Mild Suggestive Themes. Also includes Users Interact. This is a strategy game in which players establish a new civilization in an enchanted realm. From a 3/4-overhead perspective, players construct buildings, gather resources, and explore the realm for rival domains. Players can deploy fantastical units (e.g., mages, inferno hounds, elven archers) across battlefields to fight enemy creatures (e.g., nymphs, skeletons, demons) in turn-based combat. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain and sword-slashing effects; small blood splashes appear as units are hit. Some female characters are designed with low-cut outfits that depict moderate amounts of cleavage; a handful of female creatures are depicted with exposed breasts, though without discernible details (i.e., no nipples). The word "bastard" appears in the game.
