Vengeful Guardian Moonrider

This is a side-scrolling action platformer in which players assume the role a cybernetic ninja on a quest to destroy a totalitarian state. As players traverse 2D platform environments, they use energy swords and laser blasters to slash and kill mechanical creatures and enemy soldiers. Battles are frenetic at times, highlighted by cries of pain, explosions, and blood-splatter effects. Enemies generally break apart into small pieces when killed. Some boss encounters depict characters sliced in half; a still-image depicts characters with exploding heads and exposed entrails. The word “sh*t” appears in the game.
