Rating Summary
Jitsu Squad is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Crude Humor, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, Use of Tobacco, and Violence. This is an action beat 'em-up game in which players control animal warriors on a quest to rescue their master. Players traverse 2.5D side-scrolling environments and engage in melee-style combat against stylized enemies (e.g., demons, dinosaurs, pirates, zombies). Players use cartoony swords, cannons, scythes, and giant hammers to defeat enemies. Large blood-splatter effects occur as enemies are killed; some attacks result in dismemberment and decapitation. Human characters are sometimes depicted with exposed buttocks (e.g., mooning the camera). The game contains instances of crude humor: ghosts emitting green flatulence clouds; a character emitting fire from his buttocks; a ninja twirling mucus on his fingers; dialogue such as “Are we in someone's butthole?”; “Sure smells like it.” Some enemy characters are depicted smoking cigars and cigarettes. The word “a*s” is heard in the game.
